About us

I’ve been cooking since my 20s, and fell in love with pizza making a decade later.

My pizzas are the number one requested item when friends and family come over. The crust is crispy and light, the sauce is fresh and garlicky, and the toppings are as surprising as they are tasty. Who knew that broccoli and kale would make such crowd pleasing pizza toppings? We make my pizzas every Friday night here at home, and they never get old. Why would they? I make a different one each week- sometimes, we are in the mood for a simple cheese, while other nights, a loaded white pizza is on the menu.

When the world was launched into a pandemic in 2020, I knew I had to do something to help all those families struggling with food insecurity. I decided to start raising money for the LA Food Bank by making pizzas for anyone donating $25 or more. Did you know that just $25 is the equivalent of 100 meals?

I had to figure out a way to expand, to reach even more families in need. A good friend of mine suggested “you should sell pizza kits” to me one Friday afternoon, and here we are! Now, I sell my delicious homemade pizza kits, and 20% (or $5!) from each pizza kit goes directly to the LA Food Bank!

Other pizza kits you might find at the grocery store always have the same things in common- bland sauce, sub-par dough, and toppings that you yourself could have easily picked up in another aisle. Yuck! Your other option is to spend $100 at Goldbelly for a pizza kit to be delivered to you, and you end up with the same quality + taste issues.

These pizzas are all baked on a heavy duty sheet pan (they bake at 475 degrees, after all) with ridges (gotta get that crispy crust!). These are the ones I prefer. You can also use any sheet pan you have at home, just be sure it’s heavy duty for the high temp.

You'll also need olive oil, salt and pepper. I'd recommend a good kosher salt (remember to break it up in between your fingers as you dole it out), and fresh cracked black pepper. I use a lot of black pepper to finish my pizzas before they bake (especially the pepperoni), it really makes a difference!

When you get home, just scan the QR code on the label inside your kit, follow the directions, and you’ll have your whole house smelling like fresh baked pizza in no time! Plus, 20% of all profits go to the LA Food Bank- how great is that? Feed yourself and feed your neighbors! We’re cool girl pizza, pizza with a purpose!
